How long does the training really take? +
On average 4 months per module — but you set your pace. Some students finish in 6 weeks, others take 6 months. You have 6 months' access and learn at your own pace during this time.
Do I need a separate room or studio to work as a pedicurist? +
Not necessarily. For mobile services, a treatment kit is enough. If you work from your own room, basic hygiene standards apply — we cover everything in the course.
What equipment do I need to buy to start? +
For Module A: nail scissors, file, pumice stone, foot bath — usually already at home. Module B adds a foot drill (from about €250). Up to 10% discount with our partner suppliers.
Can I do this as a side job? +
Yes — most of our graduates start part-time. You can register a side business, taxes stay simple, and you build a client base alongside your main job.
What certificate do I receive? +
After Module B you receive the "Specialist Pedicure" certificate (written exam). Module C adds "Specialist Pedicure per Medical Guidelines". Both qualify you to register a business.
Do I have to come to Cologne? +
No. The entire training is online. Optionally you can take a practical exam on-site, by Zoom or WhatsApp (€178.50 incl. VAT).
How is this different from podology training? +
Podology is a regulated medical profession with 2-year full-time training (€10,000–15,000) for treating diseased feet. Our training is cosmetic pedicure — online, faster, much cheaper. Both professions complement each other but are legally separate.
What insurance do I need? +
Professional liability insurance (often from €80/year) is recommended. We provide a checklist of insurers who specialize in pedicure businesses.
What happens if I have questions during the course? +

Are 4 months really realistic, or will I never finish? +
4 months is the average for our graduates, based on 5–8 hours of study per week. Some finish in 6 weeks (full-time focus), others take 8 months (3 h/week between job and family) — both are fine. You have 6 months' access. Important point: you don't have to wait the full 4 months to start — after 2–3 weeks you can practice on friends.

Can I register a foot-care business in Germany with a residence permit or Duldung? +
In principle yes — a residence permit with work authorization allows business registration. With Duldung or Aufenthaltsgestattung, an additional approval from the immigration office is needed. We can't verify this ourselves — please consult your authority or a migration counselling service (e.g. Diakonie, Caritas) before purchasing. If unsure, use the 14-day money-back guarantee.
Is the certificate valid in Poland / Turkey / Russia / Arab countries? +
